Some events may therefore be past when you visit the site, and in any case details of a previous Sunday are often retained for a few days in case visitors to the site wish to refer again to the readings for the day.

The aim is to show all events and activities affecting the parish over a 2-week period (Sunday - Sunday), with 'Advance Dates' beyond that showing some key events but not necessarily the full programme.

At certain times during the year (eg holiday periods) the full programme may be shown for a longer period and updates may be less frequent.

Our Worship.

Immanuel and St Andrew's normal pattern of services is shown on the services page, where you can also find more information about our worship and other activities. Our main service on Sunday is at 10:00am. This page normally shows details of services in the coming weeks, including any changes to the regular pattern.

If you want to know more about the Feasts, Festivals, Seasons, names of the Sundays, etc., you may find our Guide to the Christian Year, 'Seasons? What Seasons? helpful.

Start the Day Right. Based around traditional Morning Prayer, this brief service offers 20 minutes of peace and quiet to stop and reflect on the needs of the world and the day ahead. Monday-Thursday mornings every week excluding Bank Holidays etc) at 9:00am in the Church.

See also 'OPEN DOOR', the weekly news and notice sheet, available at the church. A copy is usually posted beside the church door.

All children are welcome to come along to the Junior Church groups, which meet most Sundays in school term time during the first part of the 10:00am service. If any have allergies or special needs please would parents/guardians make sure that the Junior Church leaders are made aware of them. Thank you.
